Upgrade Windows 8/8.1 to Windows 10 Without Media Creation Tool

In this guide, I am not going to use any third-party external software/ tools, we gonna upgrade to Windows 10 without Media creation tool. Let’s start

Download Windows 10 ISO:

• Open Google Chrome.
• Search for “Windows 10 ISO download“.
• Click on the first Microsoft link.

Change Browser Settings:

• Right-click on the blank space and select “Inspect”.
• Click on the three dots at the top right of the inspect window, go to “More tools” > “Network conditions”.
• Uncheck “Use browser default” under “User agent” and select “Chrome OS”.

Download the ISO:

• Reload the page and select “Windows 10 multi-edition ISO”.
• Choose your language (same as your current Windows 8/8.1).
• Select the correct version (32-bit or 64-bit).

By following these steps, you ensure a smooth download without losing any files or settings. This method is straightforward and doesn’t require the Media Creation Tool, making it accessible for everyone. Download takes sometimes depending on the internet speed.

Mount the ISO:

• Right-click on the downloaded ISO file and select “Mount”.
• Double-click on “Setup”.

Installation

• Choose “Not right now” for updates.
